We always want what we can’t have, so although I’m surrounded by mountains and dark green forests here on Vancouver’s North Shore, I’m constantly on the hunt for a good grassy field (preferably one with beautiful evening sun). Well it turns out that just one ferry ride away, my dream location exists. We had the greatest mini-vacation in Victoria BC this summer, and one of the highlights was coming across this gorgeous spot. Just 10min from downtown, fields of long grasses and flowers blow in the wind alongside a steep cliff that overlooks the ocean. Although we’d had a long first day exploring the town, we took 30min after dinner to go play in the field, and I got some of my favourite pics of the summer. I’ll throw in a few others from the trip as well, starting with a bird’s eye view of the ferry bubbles on the way over!
