I have a BEAUTIFUL newborn to share today! Baby Everleigh was a dream to photograph… she was the sweetest little bundle with perfect cheeks, warm skin tone, and lots of soft, dark hair. She loved having her little hand up near her face (she must’ve been that way in the womb), so I kept it there for a lot of her pictures. You can see in the family images that her parents were already head-over-heels in love with her. I was pretty smitten myself after spending the morning with her!
She was a sleepy girl, and quite flexible, so I took the opportunity to try a few new things. One was a special request from her mom: the “froggy pose” (scroll all the way to the end to see this one). It wouldn’t be safe to pose a baby this way on their own, so it was done by stitching together 2 photos in Photoshop… there were always hands supporting her arms and head in real life. I didn’t even know if I’d be able to pull it off, so I was pretty happy to get a smile!
You’ll see that I also took her outdoors for a few shots in my front yard! How sweet is she peeking out from the hostas? I’m already dreaming up what I can plant next spring specifically for some outdoor set-ups! Sigh, this was one of those sessions that makes me wish I could fit in way more newborns each month. Thank you to her sweet family for coming to me, it was really my pleasure to work with all of you!
